Mohammad Mehdi began designing in 2002 and launched the MEHDI label in Lahore in 2004. His work has developed around the meeting point of sculptural form, intricate craftsmanship and modern glamour.

Across bridal couture, occasionwear and ready-to-wear, he draws on heritage craftsmanship while developing a contemporary couture language of his own. The emphasis remains on silhouette, proportion, fabric, handwork and the confidence of the person wearing the piece.

MEHDI has presented collections internationally over the course of the house's history, while Lahore remains central to its creative identity and craftsmanship.
